I have worked at Lichfield Registry Office many times, and despite not being from the town, I have become rather familiar with the area. The registry office tends to attract more intimate weddings, and my most popular packages for this venue tend to be the half-day package, or in this case, the two-hour package.
It’s amazing what you can cover in just two hours. On this occasion, I was able to get a few photos of the groom and guests waiting for the bride's arrival before I ran out and around to the car park to photograph Dad’s reaction to seeing his daughter for the first time in her dress. After the ceremony and a bit of mingling time for the guests to chat and congratulate the couple, we took a quick confetti shot before, as a group, moving up to the cathedral to take the formal family photos. Once everyone had their turn to be photographed with the couple, the guests moved on to the venue while the couple and I took a stroll around the streets near the cathedral to take some relaxed couple photos.
